Intercambio
Intercambio is project where I worked with the immigrant Latino community in Dallas,TX. When moving to a new country, you do not get the choice to carry all your personal belongings with you. You usually leave behind your family and what you care about. For the past few years, I would always get ask to retouch old photographs of families. Many of these photographs are the only thing many of these people have to remind them of the loves ones who where left behind.
With this project, i wanted to exchange a conversation about their lives for a family photograph. I wanted to provide a free photograph that could still carry the sentimental effect those old photographs carry, but also as a testimony of their new life in this country.
